ESAC acknowledged that existing data on household detergents and cleaning products as well as their main ingredient class, i.e. surfactants as used in these products, may be useful in the context of classification and labelling decisions as outlined in the CLP regulation (1272/2008/EC) and in particular within weight of evidence approaches, as well as to support the validation of alternative methods. No additional testing should be performed to further develop or validate this method. |
